The cybersecurity industry has become awash with vendors, new and not so new, claiming they are next-gen and stating that their solutions are based on artificial intelligence. Some might call this fake news. The term AI is misused and it’s use by cybersecurity companies really only refers to a subcategory of this technology, machine learning.
